Magnificent Middle is a curated women's community based in Bad Homburg, Germany. The controller responsible for your data under the GDPR is Magnificent Middle GbR, Schellingstraße 6, 61350 Bad Homburg vor der Höhe, Germany, represented by its partners Loocyn Kinosian and Trinidad Arriola-Kern. We can be reached at hello@magnificentmiddle.com.
If you complete our survey, we collect the answers you give, which may include your name, email address, and responses about your interests and background. We use this to shape the programme design of The Magnificent Middle Circle. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
If you apply for a place, we collect your name, email address and the answers you write about your situation and what you are looking for. We use this to assess your application and to contact you about it. The legal basis is the steps taken at your request before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
If we offer you a place and you enroll, we collect your first name and surname, postal address, telephone number, email address, your chosen payment option, and the confirmations you tick. We use this to conclude and perform the participation contract, to issue your invoice, and to administer your place in the Circle. The legal basis is performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Where we are required to keep invoicing and accounting records, the legal basis is our legal obligation under German tax and commercial law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Photographs and recordings of sessions in which you appear are used only if you have given the separate, optional consent offered on the enrollment form. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). This consent is voluntary, is not a condition of participation, and you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future by writing to hello@magnificentmiddle.com — though material already published may not be recoverable from every channel.
If you write to us, we keep your message and contact details in order to answer you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share it only as follows:
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.
Survey and application data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose above, and deleted on request. Enrollment and contract data is kept for the duration of the Circle and afterwards for as long as statutory retention periods require — under German tax and commercial law, invoices and accounting records are generally kept for ten years. Photographs and recordings are kept until you withdraw your consent.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of what was done before. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@magnificentmiddle.com and we will respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. For us this is the Hessischer Beauftragter für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Postfach 3163, 65021 Wiesbaden.
